Dr. Mirza has been practicing medicine in South West Florida since 2016. After completing 5 years with Family Health Centers of Southwest Florida as a Pediatrician, providing care for the medically-underserved, he decided to open his first private-practice, Starz Pediatrics in Estero, FL in 2022. 

He completed his Pediatric Residency training at Florida Hospital, Orlando (Walt Disney Pavilion) in 2016. He was one of the first Pediatric Residents who helped to establish this new training program at Florida Hospital.  He has a special interest in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Flight Medicine, Mental/Behavioral Health, and the overall well-being of his patients. He believes in leading by example, and also maintains a healthy and well-balanced lifestyle.

After noting many gaps in our current healthcare system and the way medical services were being offered, he decided to try and correct these gaps by offering same-day/walk-in appointments, extended hours from 8AM-8PM on weekdays, as well as half-days on Saturdays. This was based on the simple fact that many of our parents and families have jobs and careers, and may not always be have the time to excuse themselves from work in order to attend a doctor’s appointment for their child. The solution to this was to provide extended hours in order to accommodate these needs.
